A fun Target trip

I did a big grocery shopping trip earlier this week as I'd practically skipped shopping altogether last week since we were out of town for a few days. I'll share more about my great deals and bargains for Super Savings Saturday, but I wanted to go ahead and share my Target bargains in case it might help you in planning a Target trip.

Here's what we bought:

4 boxes of Eggo BakeShop products priced at $1.50 each, used $1/1 coupons = $0.50 each after coupons
6 small cups of Edy's ice cream priced at $1.19 each, used $1/1 coupons = $0.19 each after coupons
2 boxes of Kashi cereal priced at $2.66 each, used 2 $1.50 coupons, $0.50/1 coupon, and B1G1 coupon = free plus $0.94 overage after coupons!
2 boxes Kashi cereal bars priced at $2.66 each, used 2 $1.50/1 coupons plus $1/2 coupon = $0.66 each after coupons
2 boxes Nexcare band-aids price-reduced to $1.77, used $1/1 coupons = $0.77 each after coupons
1 small bottle Renu contact solution priced at $1.54, used $1/1 coupon = $0.54 after coupon

All totaled, I paid just shy of $6 for everything pictured above.

I was especially happy to get 4 boxes of Kashi products plus all those other items for what you'd normally spend just for two boxes of Kashi products on sale. Hooray for coupons!

Safeway: Free Starbucks ice cream

Safeway has the individual-sized Starbucks ice cream cups on sale for $1 each this week. Use the $1/1 coupon from the 6/21 SmartSource insert to score free ice cream.

If you don't have a Safeway store, you might check your local stores to see if they also carry the individual cups of ice cream. I'm guessing they would be priced at $1.50 or less making for a pretty sweet deal after this coupon. Thanks, Coupon Clippin' Mama!

Speaking of Starbucks ice cream, you gotten your free pint yet?

Also, you can get a $1/1 coupon here (good only on the pint-sized ice cream) or here. I couldn't get the last link to print on my computer. If you can get it to print, let us know if it is good on any size of Starbucks ice cream or only on the pints.

Arby's: Free BBQ Bacon Cheddar RoastBurger with soft drink purchase

The Arby's Roastburger coupons which were all over the place a few months ago have been rather lax lately. However, there's good news--a new coupon just surfaced!

Go here to print a coupon for a free Arby's BBQ Bacon Cheddar Roastburger when you purchase a soft drink. This coupon expires July 12, 2009.

Go here and click on the floating dollar sign to get a $1/1 Baked Lay's coupon. These were on sale for $1.77 at our Kroger store recently which would make them only $0.77 after the coupon. You might also check on the price of these at KMart if your KMart store is doubling coupons this week.

There is a new $1/1 any Muir Glen organic product coupon here. Use this on the canned tomatoes at Wal-Mart to get them for less than $0.30/can. Or, you can use these on the small cans of tomato paste to get them free or almost free.

Play the Guiding Stars Game on the Food Lion website here to learn about how Food Lion rates items based upon nutrition. You will then be able to print a coupon for $1 off any item which has received a rating of 1, 2, or 3. These items include things like milk and produce. If you buy small amounts of fruit and vegetables at a time, you can get them free with this coupon!
