24-Hour Giveaway: French Press Coffee Maker and Two Bags of Starbucks Coffee to five winners!

 

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I do love me some Starbucks on occasion. It's a special splurge that lots of penny-pinching in other areas allows for and it's amazing what a warm cup of fresh-brewed coffee can do for one's morale!

When Starbucks contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if they could give away a free French Press Coffee Maker and two bags of Starbucks Coffee to five readers, I knew I didn't want to turn down this opportunity! And I had a little ulterior motive, you see, because they sent me a French Press and two bags of coffee as well. (Yes, there are perks to blogging!)

We'd never used a French Press before and we quickly discovered it's the perfect coffee maker for a minimalist like me. It's inexpensive, it's compact, it's energy-efficient, and there aren't any bells and whistles. In short, I loved it!

You know what's even better than buying a fresh-brewed cup of Starbucks coffee? Making it yourself! You can become a barista at home and save yourself a boatload of money. In fact, Starbucks told me that it only costs about $0.25 per cup of coffee you brew at home. That's some serious savings over what you'd pay in-store! Plus, if you return an empty bag of coffee to any Starbucks store, you'll get a free cup of coffee!
